We have been through a dictionary with 58,000 words to pick out the most positive words that we think are worth contemplating and repeating. We were mightily surprised how few positive words we could find out of 58,000 words!!! Less than 1000. Wondering whether this is the reason so many people are depressed – the number of neutral or negative words far outweigh the positive ones…
Various people have estimated that we have between 12,000 and 70,000 thoughts a day. And that most of them are the same thoughts we had yesterday! We are being constantly bombarded with other peoples words and thoughts as well as having our own broken records playing over and over and hmmmm over again…
We have put this typing test with POSITIVE WORDS together so you can get your daily dose of positive words if you want to. The idea is that some parts of your mind will be kept busy and hopefully that will help these positive words to slip into your subconscious mind. Of course we have no double blind placebo tested research to support this – so you will just have to try it and see if it is helpful for you!

The words were taken from this list on this website http://www.mieliestronk.com/wordlist.html We are kind of wondering if we need to go through a bigger dictionary to get more positive words!
When we just wake up or are heading off to sleep we are supposed to be in a theta brain wave state. In a theta brainwave state it is said we are able to influence our subconscious mind more than when we are in other brainwave states/ at other times, so there may be value in practicing typing positive words when you first wake up and before you go to sleep.
